Location
Venice is extremely busy in every season and the flow of visitors can sometimes be unpleasant. Even taking the vaporetto can sometimes be challenging.
However, when staying at Palazzo Amadi none of this occurs: we are indeed in a fortunate location compared to other hotels in Venice.
We are indeed in a small private courtyard, Corte de Ca’ Amadi, where only our guests and our neighbours who live here in the courtyard enter. The palazzo’s other aspect, once the main entrance, overlooks the Rio del Fontego dei Tedeschi, a picturesque canal where gondolas glide slowly past on their way from the Rialto Bridge to the Bridge of Sighs.
Corte di Ca’ Amadi is a place that surprises with its tranquillity, yet it is extremely close to the Rialto Bridge, 5 minutes on foot, and to St Mark’s Square, 10 minutes on foot.
The “Rialto” stop, where the main vaporetto lines and the shuttle for Venice Marco Polo Airport arrive, is also just 5 minutes away.

Ca’ Amadi is located in the heart of Venice and is the ideal starting point for any itinerary in the city and on the lagoon islands.
By train
- From Venice Santa Lucia station, take vaporetto line 2 (from the Ferrovia stop) to the Rialto stop.
- From the Rialto stop you can reach us with a 5-minute walk.
By car
Parking at Piazzale Roma
- Cross the entrance bridge to the city (Ponte della Libertà) and once you reach Piazzale Roma you can choose from several car parks.
- The largest are the AVM municipal garage and Garage San Marco.
- From Piazzale Roma, you can take vaporetto line 2 to the Rialto stop.
- From the Rialto stop you can reach us with a 5-minute walk.
In auto
Parking at Tronchetto
- Cross the entrance bridge (Ponte della Libertà) and before reaching Piazzale Roma turn right towards Tronchetto.
- From Tronchetto, you can take vaporetto line 2 to the Rialto stop.
- From the Rialto stop you can reach us with a 5-minute walk.
By plane
From Venice Marco Polo Airport
Public water transport
- Take the Alilaguna boat, orange line, to the Rialto stop.
- From the Rialto stop you can reach us with a 5-minute walk.
Water taxi
- A pre-booked taxi will await you at the dock and will take you to Campiello del Remer on the Grand Canal or Teatro Malibran (journey time approximately 30 minutes). From both destinations you can reach us in a couple of minutes on foot.

Public land + water transport
- Take the Treviso Airport Bus Express (journey time 60 minutes) to Piazzale Roma.
- Take vaporetto line 2 to the Rialto stop.
- From the Rialto stop you can reach us with a 5-minute walk.
